Toshiba Tec has announced the release of its new label printer, the B-FV4 series. According to Toshiba Tec, the B-FV4 series is a durable and compact printer that offers value in an affordable, powerful label printing solution.

The printer offers flexibility and improved speed over the company’s prior generation, the B-EV4 series. The first label print is 13% faster and batch printing is 8% faster.

The B-FV4 also offers the following: Long ribbon up to 300 meters, multiple printer control languages, network connectivity without additional costs (LAN interface as standard), drop-in paper loading and two available print modes: direct thermal and thermal transfer.

Both B-FV4D and B-FV4T printers are developed with low energy consumption and have Energy Star qualification. In addition, a version of the new B-FV4D model functions with linerless label material that helps to reduce waste by eliminating the need for the backing liner.

This series’ design makes it suitable for use in retail stores, transportation/logistics, industrial/manufacturing, healthcare, courier/post and commercial services.
